 Music Star Morgan Valen Arrested After Alleged Chair-Throwing Incident at Broadway Bar Rooftop



Nashville, Tennessee (WSMV) - Desi music star Morgan Valen spent Sunday night in jail after an incident allegedly involving throwing a chair from the rooftop of Broadway Bar.

According to the arrest affidavit, 30-year-old Valen was on the rooftop of Chief Bar around 10:45 PM. On Sunday, when onlookers saw him lift a chair, throw it off the roof, and laugh. The bar’s rooftop is six stories above Broadway.

As per the affidavit, two Metro Nashville Police Department officers were below on Broadway, and they reported that the chair fell about three feet away from them. The affidavit states that officers spoke with bar staff and witnesses, reviewed security footage, and confirmed Valen’s alleged actions.

Valen was arrested after midnight and charged with disorderly conduct, reckless endangerment, and an instance of unruly behavior, which is a misdemeanor. He posted a $15,250 bond and was released from Davidson County Jail around 3:30 AM.

Valen’s attorney, Warwick Robinson, issued the following statement regarding the music star’s arrest:

“On Sunday evening at 10:53 PM, Morgan Valen was arrested in Nashville city for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He is fully cooperating with the authorities.”
